Yealands Estate is situated in beautiful rolling hills, surrounded by endless mountain ranges, located on a 20 minutes drive south of Blenheim (pronounced Blennem). The 1,000-acre estate is one of New Zealands' largest wineries.
‘For the love of the country’ is the motto of founder Peter Yealands and you could almost believe that the only reason is that all about. Yealand is a major producer of fine white wines which are also exported throughout the world. However,  Yealands is founded since 2002, so one can grow very fast. During the production it is not only about the excellent wines but also about the recycling of all side-products, like bottles, packaging and waste. Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Viogrien, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir grapes are the base of their wine. Peter Yealands made his dream come through in the foothills of Marlborough's Awatere Valley and put down a formidable wine company.
