You can find Shingleback wine in the more larger Dutch liquor stores, so why visit them  if you're in McLaren Vale? Off course, to taste what Shingleback can offer you more than what you might find at the big grocer in your country. For example, the sultry Viognier, the fiery and fruity Grenache and The Gate, an older, more sophisticated Shiraz.

You cannot miss Shingleback when you turn off the main road to the village of McLaren Vale. Along the road dozens of logos of local wineries welcome the visitors, but none is that charming as the renovated nineteenth-century barn, the cellar door of the winery with the shingleback, one of Australia's most recognizable lizard, shines on the label.
