Last autumn we have been at a organized cycling trip to Burgundy. Every day our luggage was delivered at the next hotel. On the first day of cycling around noon we had a tour at Olivier Leflaive Freres including a wine tasting and lunch in its restaurant. The wine master gave us an comprehensive tour. The lunch / wine tasting was excellent. I'm not exactly sure what the price was for this lunch / wine tasting, because the price was included in the whole deal for the trip. We had over 14 wines to taste during the lunch. The most annoying thing is that at a certain moment you have three glasses of Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru in front of you and you have to tell which one you like most. You never know the answer, but if you appoint one, the other two are thrown away. Of course this is for protection against excessive drinking, for it fills the glass properly for such an extensive tasting. But it remains an eternal shame! The lunch or tasting room is very nice and stylish. Really a must to visit. I think there is also a hotel so you can stay after you had dinner.
