Do not trip over the two dogs Billie and Mo, because they love to lie on the doormat - although, they also like to accompany the visitors. Next to the entrance of the cellar door large versions of the detailed drawings in black and white grape leaves, which in miniature are perhaps the finest labels of McLaren Vale.

Zinfandel
The drawing of the cabernet sauvignon-leave with its 'little eyes' is the logo of the family business, but Kangarilla Road stands out with another grape of the average range in the region: the Zinfandel. The popular grape in California – related  to the Italian Primitivo and the Plavac mali from Croatia - supplies by supervision of winemaker Kevin O'Brien a soft, elegant, fruity wine. Primitivo is also available which is somewhat spicier. Also very nice on their wine list: the viognier, called Good Intentions. Fresh, delicate, full of fruit: nectarines, apricots.

Laze on the couch in the stylish cellar door, or find a chair on the terrace, covered with beautiful red colored swinging vines (in autumn). You have beautiful views of the zinfandel vineyard.
