The famous wine house Hugel in Riquewihr stands for quality. This producer is exporting around the world, but in the half-timbered house on the corner where you can taste there is nothing to notice. Hugel's just left. The wines are rapidly being served after you have chosen one from their wine list. With Hugel you're never wrong, simply because the wines are very good. But the visit wasn’t very exciting.

Hugel is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 and 14:00 to 18:00. Outside this period it is advisable to call. Hugel adheres to a maximum of 10 persons each time. A tour through the cellars can be organized for a maximum of 15 persons, or by appointment, of course, and only on weekdays.
