This location is not very romantic. Nevertheless hostess gave us a friendly welcome and she guided us to the basement where we tasted three very good wines. The vin de table is a cuvee of the house and therefore has not AOC status, but we can say it is of excellent quality. Let’s try the wine where the region is known for, namely St Joseph. The good thing is that despite Mauve village is known for its mediocre quality of wine, Gripa is the one that rises above the rest.
