Early 19th century the family Freychet owned the estate by land consolidation. Currently the family is so large (they live across France) that they can stay on a tight schedule on the estate, only when maintenance is also done. Entering the gate we recognise the landmark water tower which is visible on the labels. We are having such a large group (fifteen to twenty men) that it takes a while before we reach the beautiful garden. The garden offer nice views on the vineyards and along we see the characteristic mountain Pinet. In good English, we get a not too lengthy tour of one hour. Through the basement where there are original concrete tanks, we are led into the shop. Together it's a bit cramped. We taste the entire range about ten wines. The volumes are just too few to sip a good run. The white and rosé wines are unfortunately not served cold so that is too bad.I especially liked the red and the LA TOURIE ROUGE AOC Coteaux du Languedoc. We spend our holidays on the same campsite. This campsite once has been launched to get volunteers for helping in the vineyard.
