Near Nantes at the village La Chapelle-Heulin is situated Château de La Cassemichère. The area is known for its Muscadet wines. This small castle is a nice wine domain where you get a guided tour with a tale. Unfortunately, the castle is not open to public but the guided tour gives you a nice view in the small chapel, the cellars and for the ones who are romantic there is a lovely park is. Also they have a large room where private parties can be held. If you can get enough of it, book a room to stay over, so that you nevertheless can secretly admire the castle. This spot is one with history, because the monks from the Burgundy took the first Mucadet wines from this area. The wines cost between € 4, - to € 11, -. That one of € 11 is delicious with a sea food. A special sweeter alternative is also available.
