The largest and oldest wine cooperative in the Ahr valley is Winzergenossenschaft Mayschoss-Altenahr. The cooperative was founded in 1868 and is more than 150 years old, produces grapes of 121 acres and has 320 members. We had a delicious lunch at the terrace of Weingut Kreuzberg. The menu is quite simple, but nevertheless with real German specialties. The wine was of course fine, but unfortunately we had no time for a full tasting.
